February 26, 2025 - Kaspersky Standard, the primary Kaspersky Consumer Portfolio plan, has been honored with the annual Top-Rated Product Award by AV-Comparatives for high results across the whole series of consumer products tests in 2024. The product also showed outstanding performance in False Positives, Performance and Advanced Threat Protection Tests.
Every year, AV-Comparatives, the leading test organization, publishes its annual Summary Report, providing an overview of every consumer cyber protection product participating in its main test series, and awards top performers based on test results for the whole year. Kaspersky, being honored with the “Product of the Year” award in 2023, continues to demonstrate high results and received the Top-Rated Product award of 2024. The report highlights the product’s straightforward installation, in addition to the program’s modern, tiled interface, and wide range of configuration options available to advanced users.
Over the years the testers have recognized Kaspersky’s consumer products a total of sixteen times, which has included 7 Top Rated Product, 7 Product of the Year and two Outstanding Product awards. This outlines the company as the leader in the total number of annual awards among all participants.
In 2024 Kaspersky Standard participated and received high results in 7 multi-aspect tests of the Main Test Series, which includes Performance Test, Malware Protection Tests, Whole Product Dynamic Tests and Advanced Threat Protection Test. Its performance during the assessments resulted in the product earning 100 points out of 105 and granted the top status. In addition, Kaspersky received Awards of Gold\Silver\Bronze levels in specific categories.
The Kaspersky consumer solution achieved the lowest number of False Positive for which it was given the Gold award. The capability to minimize false positives while demonstrating high results in Malware Protection and Whole Product Dynamic Tests is particularly important for bringing users’ digital experience to the top level of security.
The product was also given the Silver award for high efficiency in the Advanced Threat Protection Test. This test is aimed at examining security solution against targeted attacks under close to real conditions. Kaspersky Standard demonstrated its efficiency and finished top-3 among the participants.
In addition, Kaspersky Standard earned the Silver award for demonstrating the low impact to system performance during assessment in several user scenarios and synthetical test suite.
